Cancellations & refunds

What you get back, and how long it takes.

Last updated August 30, 2026

How cancellation works

Each experience carries the cancellation terms set by the operator who runs it. Those terms are shown on the activity page and again at checkout, before you pay — they are not the same for every activity, and a private or group-rate booking is often stricter than the standard rate.

To cancel, open your booking from the confirmation email or the booking lookup page. You will see exactly what is refundable before you confirm.

Refund processing fee

Charged on every refund

On top of the operator's terms, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies even inside a free cancellation window — the fee the payment provider charged when you paid is not returned to us when we refund.

No fee if the operator cancels

If an experience is cancelled by the operator — weather, minimum numbers not met, or any operational reason — you receive the full amount back, with no processing fee, or you can move to another date free of charge.

How long refunds take

We submit the refund to the original payment method as soon as it is approved, usually within one business day. After that the timing is up to your bank or wallet provider:

  • Cards — typically 5–10 business days
  • Alipay / WeChat Pay — usually within 24 hours

Refunds always go back to the method you paid with. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account.

Changing your date instead

Many experiences can be moved to another date instead of being cancelled, which often costs less than cancelling and rebooking. Open your booking and choose Change date — you will see whether it is available and what, if anything, it costs before you confirm.
