Experience a snowmobile tour around the Arctic Circle!
Your experience begins with a meeting at our Safari Office, where you'll be greeted by your guide. You'll then gear up in warm winter overalls to ensure you're comfortable and protected during the ride. Next, we’ll check driving licenses for those who will be operating a snowmobile, followed by a safety briefing to go over important guidelines for a safe and enjoyable experience. Once everyone is ready, we’ll walk approximately 200 meters to the snowmobiles. Before setting off, your guide will give detailed driving instructions. After all the safety instructions are done, the real fun begins when it´s time to start your 1-hour long journey through stunning Arctic landscapes!
About halfway through, we’ll take a short break, giving you the chance to take some photos and switch drivers if you are traveling in pairs.
This activity is perfect for families and beginners as the route will be tailored to your needs. This excursion is suitable for everybody, but adults require a valid driving license to drive a snowmobile. Children and adults without valid driver's licenses can join the safari comfortably seated on a sled behind the guide's snowmobile.
Cancellation policy
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.

Additional information
- No pick-up/drop-off on this tour, please meet us at our office in Santa Claus Village on the set meeting time. The informed time is the meeting time at our office.
- Please note, missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.
- Duration of the snowmobiling is about 1 hour. It is suited for adults as well as children.
- In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. Please note, most of the digital driving licenses are not yet accepted in Finland. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
- Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
- 2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
- The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
- Children 2-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
- Children under 2 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
- If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
Good to know
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour, and guests cannot participate if intoxicated.
