About this activity

Our unique New Year´s special tour will take you into a secret location hidden from the crowds, right next to a deeply frozen lake. You will experience how to celebrate the changing of the New Year in traditional Finnish way!

Our New Year´s special starts at the Beyond Arctic office, from where you are taken to comfy coach waiting us. After a half an hour drive we´ll arrive into secret location, already away from the City lights and which is built just for us. We don´t have to worry about the coldness, as in our traditionally made Lapish styled hut, open fire will keep us warm and the night illuminated. During the evening you will find out how fortunate you will be next year, what´s the traditional Finnish New Years´s dish and of course as an climax a thrilling countdown to start a New Year with fireworks!

Secret hideout we use is placed into a location where in clear nights, we are able to spot the Northern Lights as well! Of course, Northern Lights are a natural Phenomenon and we can´t guarantee that they will be visible. But even knowing there´s a chance will increase the excitement of this already magical evening!

As we are photography based company, there´s also photography guides to help and take pictures for you, while we are celebration the year changing!

Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 180 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
