Evening snowshoeing in search for Northern Lights

About this activity

When the night has set, by car we will go to one of the fells in the Ruka area. After being equipped with snowshoes and torches, we will start our way up to the hill with the hope to get a clear view of the Northern sky.

Total darkness and silence in the middle of a snowy forest create an exciting and expectant atmosphere that makes the Northern lights hunting even more great experience. On the way, a guide will share stories about the Northern lights and the northern nature. With a bit of good luck, we might see Northern lights dancing in the sky.

A warm drink will be served during the trip. 

The hike is done on a demanding terrain, which requires good basic conditions.

Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 31 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 100 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
