About this activity

Fire Journey is a three-hour guided sauna and dining experience that brings together Finnish sauna culture, Arctic nature and a carefully prepared dinner at SUMA Sauna & Lounge.

During the experience, your host will introduce you to three different saunas, each offering its own atmosphere. Enjoy the authentic heat of a traditional wood-burning sauna, relax in an electric sauna with panoramic views over the Kemijoki River, or unwind in the gentler warmth of the steam sauna.

Between sauna sessions, step outside to relax in the heated outdoor pool or experience the refreshing contrast of an Arctic dip in the Kemijoki River.

The experience includes everything you need for a comfortable visit: a towel, bathrobe, sauna slippers and a welcome drink. After the sauna, the journey continues with a full dinner package inspired by Arctic flavours and northern ingredients.

Special dietary requirements can be accommodated when communicated in advance.

Fire Journey is designed for guests who want to experience Finnish sauna culture at its best — unhurried, atmospheric and completed with a memorable evening meal by the river.

Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 3 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
