Welcome to an Unforgettable Arctic Adventure! This extraordinary cruise takes you onto the frozen sea, where you'll walk on solid ice and float safely in icy water wearing a thermal survival suit. Choose between a morning or afternoon departure. Arktis experience includes a 3-hour icebreaker cruise, round-trip transfers from Haparanda&Tornio to the harbor in Kemi, ice floating, walking on the frozen sea (weather permitting), and a certificate of participation. Onboard, you'll enjoy two cozy indoor decks and a modern café with Arctic views.
We also recommend booking additional services in advance, such as a delicious lunch buffet at the restaurant and access to the magical SnowExperience indoor ice and snow attraction and Gemstone Gallery (available for an extra fee, tickets can also be purchased at SnowCastle area’s reception). Please note: the cruise is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Minimum height for the ice floating activity is 140 cm.
On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.

To prepare for the arctic wintertime and activities, we highly recommend that you to dress in layered thermal underwear and warm, windproof outdoor clothing. A warm hat, woollen socks, good mittens and a fleece- or woollen middle layer are all part of proper winter clothing. This way your journey will be pleasant and enjoyable! Inside of the Icebreaker it is warm, but with appropriate clothing you will also be able to go outside on the deck to experience the arctic scenery. It is also a good idea to bring your sunglasses with you, especially in springtime when it can be very bright as the snow reflects the sunlight.
