HIKING WITH ALPACAS 1 hour + visit
About this activity
We offer a fun 1-hour outing where you get to walk the alpacas through the forest near Santa Claus Village. The pace is leisurely– they like to stop and nibble on the fruits of the forest – and you can pet them and take all the pictures you want along the way.
You can book a shared alpaca walk if there are at least three participants. There must be at least two alpacas on the walk, as they cannot walk alone. If there are fewer participants/buyers than required for two alpacas, we reserve the right to cancel the walk.
You will have a chance to see other animals on your own as long as you want. The entrance ticket is valid throughout the opening hours for one day.
Guests can use our Lapland hut (kota) and campfire/barbecue. Buy snacks and drinks from the elf’s store.
Cancellation policy
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
Clothing is not included in the price.
What do I need to bring?

- All participants need to have a ticket for a walk.

- Children 10 years old or older may walk an alpaca by themselves; younger children must keep the alpaca together with an adult.
- Being with animals is at your own risk.
- The temperature limit is about -20 degrees. In colder weather than that, the alpacas don’t want to walk.
- During our opening hours (11:00–18:00), we can take up to five alpacas on the walk.

- Read the booking and cancellation conditions carefully. For money returns and changes the bookings we charge service fee of 20€
- We will pick you up at the door if your activity is before 11.00. We will wait for you 10 minutes after your scheduled time. If you are late, your activity time will be shortened.
