Intimate Northern Lights Tour with professional & local guide in Tromsø - all inclusive

Embark on an extraordinary Arctic adventure with our exclusive Northern Lights Tour, a small group excursion designed for a maximum of 6 participants - the most intimate tour in the area. The journey commences at 7:00 p.m./19:00 from Kaigata 4 on Tromsø's island, right by the iconic Magic Ice bar. The tour is guided by Norwegian local and certified guides with experience in Arctic conditions. Enjoy traveling VIP style in our comfortable four-wheel drive Mercedes, giving us the flexibility to discover the lights where we need to go. 

As we navigate the months with dark evenings from September to April, our primary goal is to chase clear skies, maximizing our chances of witnessing the enchanting Northern Lights. The excursion spans 5-6 hours and takes us in various directions away from the city lights, allowing us to explore the most promising vantage points for this awe-inspiring natural spectacle.

The Arctic weather adds an element of unpredictability to our journey. Some nights, the lights gracefully dance directly above us, creating a surreal atmosphere. Other nights, we embark on a true "hunt," possibly reaching the Finnish border, a 2-3 hour drive from Tromsø. While sightings are frequent, there are no guarantees, making each excursion a unique and thrilling experience.

Be prepared for an outdoor experience under the magical Northern Lights.  On not-too-cold evenings, you might feel inclined to take a refreshing dip in the Barents Sea. Our small group size allows for flexibility and personalized attention. Throughout the evening, we make several stops to observe the lights, with longer breaks featuring a bonfire, a portion of soup or stew, and hot drinks - all subject to weather and light conditions.

The tour might be canceled due to poor weather- and driving conditions, or if the minimum number of 2 full paying guests is not reached. The Arctic Moments is part of Naturguiden AS /www.naturguiden.no/www.thenatureguide.com.

Warm clothing and good shoes. Mittens and something for your head are mandatory. Bring a bottle of water if you get thirsty outside the set times when we get a meal and a cup of hot chocolate/tea/coffee. It is usually not extremely cold, but expect temperatures down to at least minus 10 degrees Celsius/14 degrees Fahrenheit.
