About this activity

Cross-country skiing is one of the top Finnish winter sports.

 Ruka and Kuusamo have excellent opportunities for this activity, with more than 200 km of different cross-country skiing tracks. Therefore its easy to find a track that is suitable for any kind of group, from beginners to professionals! 

The activity starts with dressing up and receiving equipment at our safari house. After that, based on the selected track, we will either start straight from the safari house or a short transfer to a skiing place will be organized.  The guide will teach you the basics of skiing and will help to get started. After that, you will have enough time to enjoy skiing in your own rhythm and observe beautiful surroundings.  A cup of warm juice will be served during a short break. 

For those who wish, the rent of skiis can be organized after the trip.

Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 31 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 100 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
