For generations, local reindeer herders have lived and worked alongside their reindeer, following the rhythm of the Arctic seasons. This experience gives you the chance to step into their world, even if just for a few hours.

Tasks vary depending on the season, the needs of the herd, and the daily work of the herders, ensuring a truly authentic experience. You might find yourself:

  • Feeding the reindeer, observing their behavior, and learning about their natural diet.
  • Preparing leaf bundles—a vital food source for the colder months.
  • Repairing fences and maintaining the reindeer’s habitat to ensure their safety and well-being.

Between tasks, your reindeer guide will share stories of reindeer, nature and Arctic life - stories and insights that can only be told by those who have lived them. Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 3 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
