Your journey begins at the Northern Lights Village Reindeer paddock, where you’ll meet a knowledgeable reindeer herder eager to share their insights. Explore the various uses of reindeer, understand their diet, and appreciate their vital role in Lappish traditions.
Then, enjoy a peaceful reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy forest. Glide silently among frosted trees, enveloped by the serene beauty of Lapland’s pristine wilderness—a truly magical experience that captures the essence of the Arctic.
After your ride, warm up with a delicious soup lunch, rye bread, and a cup of warm berry juice. Before you depart, you’ll have the chance to feed the reindeer their favourite treat: lichen!
