About this activity

This snowshoeing tour invites you to experience magical winter nature in Oulanka National park. After getting equipped at the safari office, we drive by car to place called Juuma, in Oulanka National Park, which is known for its impressive landscapes and waterfalls. Here we go exploring the national park by snowshoes. The route takes you through the snow covered forests and guide will share stories of the characteristics of the area’s flora and fauna. On the way you will see the beautiful Myllykoski rapids with a hanging bridge above it. With good luck we will see the White Dipper diving into the open water in search for food or Siberian Jays flying in the trees. Hot chocolate with sweet pastries are offered by an old mill. 

Altogether walking distance is approximately 2 km on an varying terrain. This short snowshoeing trip is perfectly suitable as well for families with children.  

Cancellation policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 31 days or less before the event
  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
Our refund fee

On top of the operator's policy above, every refund carries a processing fee: 3.5% + €0.25 for card payments, or 2% for Alipay and WeChat Pay. It applies to all refunds, including cancellations inside the free-cancellation window — the fee charged when you pay is not returned to us when we refund.
