The journey takes you to the Lampivaara fell, where you will enjoy a comfortable snowcat ride to the top, offering wonderful views of the surrounding wilderness. At the Amethyst Mine, you will hear the fascinating story of this rare Arctic gemstone and its geological origins. After the introduction, step into the mine area and try your hand at digging for your own amethyst. If luck is on your side, you may keep the stone you find as a unique personal souvenir.
During the excursion, you will enjoy a light lunch by the open fire, allowing you to warm up and
relax while surrounded by the serene winter wilderness
